TOO DIFFERENT WORLDS
"Ninety-nine percent of my body is made up of bacteria, organisms, processes over which I have no control. Even my thoughts live their own life."
A performance about transformation, identity, and a journey into the unknown, where nothing is certain and everything is possible. The story of a French anthropologist who was attacked by a bear during field research on shamanism becomes the starting point for a new perception of the world, a vision of non-destructive coexistence on the planet. The division between human and non-human, useful and harmful, sane and mad disappears. Dark ecology. But how to live with a new perception among those who do not change theirs?
The script was created in dialogue with the texts of Nastassja Martin, Timothy Morton, and Irene Solà.
